Having a title's jacket image on
the page is a great source of information for the customer and it
improves the chances of the customer buying the product.
In order for you to get your jacket image onto our website (if it is not already there) you need to follow
these steps:
- Obtain image source, either by scanning or other means.
- Resize the width of the image to 130 pixels or as
close to this as possible, keeping the proportions constrained
to avoid distortion
- Sharpen the image if necessary (if you think the image looks
a little blurred) Filters > Sharpen in Photoshop
- Optimize the image for the web (in Photoshop this is done
by File > 'Save for the web') Try to get the filesize as
small as possible but without visible distortion.
- Save the scanned image as a JPEG or JPG image.
- Use the title's ISBN as the name of the image with
the .jpg extension.
- Make sure that the ISBN is a number with no
dashes (eg. 9780517119455.jpg).
- Copy the jacket image/s onto a CD and send it to us
