Michael Morputgo has won the 20th Annual Children's Book Award. More than 1,200 titles were included in the competition which is administered by the Federation of Children's Book Groups, and judged by 20,000 children across the UK.

Kensuke's Kingdom is an updated version of Robinson Crusoe, and follows the adventures of a family yachting across the world.
