Author Information Peter Robinson is a horticultural consultant, specializing in designing and installing water features. A former director of Stapely Water Gardens, he designed Gold Medal gardens and exhibits for the Chelsea Flower Show. A Fellow of the Institute of Horticulture, he has lectured widely in the US, Ireland and Britain. He has written several books on water gardening and contributed to DK's highly acclaimed The RHS Encyclopedia of Gardening. Peter lives in Suffolk. |

Author Profile Peter Robinson was born in the north of England in 1953. He was educated at York and Cambridge. During the 1970s and 80s he taught for various institutions and was involved with the Cambridge Poetry Festival. He co-edited the magazines Perfect Bound and Numbers. Since 1989, he has been a visiting professor of English Literature in Japan, at present in Sendai, where he lives with his wife and their two daughters. |
