| | LI Shiqiao is Associate Professor at the Department of Architecture, National University of Singapore (NUS). He worked in private architectural practice in Hong Kong from 1995 to 2000, and taught at AA School of Architecture in London. His research appeared in The Journal of Architecture, Journal of Architectural Eduation, and Journal of Society of Architectural Historians, and his forthcoming books are Architecture and Modernization (Beijing, 2005) and Power and Virtue (London, 2006). Belinda HO is a registered architect in US and Hong Kong, and has a distinguished career in the design and management of a wide range of architectural projects in US and Hong Kong. She is the co-founder of BHSL Design in 2002 and, together with Li Shiqiao, won design awards such as the OISTAT theatre architectural design competition in 2003, and the 20:21 Hong Kong emerging architects award in 2004. She also teaches architectural design and construction at NUS. |
