| | Krupakar and Senani are the wildlife photographers,filmmakers and writers from India. Their film 'Wilddog Diairies' about the endangered Indian wild dogs won the Festival Grand Award 2007,in the Japanese Wildlife Film Festival held in Toyama,Japan.It also won the Best Film award in the environment film festival, Vatavaran 2007 held in New Delhi and best documentary film award in Asian television awards, Singapore 2007.The film was produced for the National Geographic Channel and was shot over 10 years.
They were kidnapped by forest brigand Veerappan whilst filming 'Wilddog Diairies'and their account as hostages can be read in the book '14 days with Veerappan' due to be published in the spring by Peakpublish. |
