Martin Barker is based at the Department of Theatre, Film and Television Studies at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth. He is the author of numerous books and articles on media studies and popular culture. Thomas Austin lectures in film studies at Sussex University. He is the author of Hollywood: Hype and Audiences, forthcoming from Manchester University Press.
